The Rector Bestowed Diplomas to The First Doctors of UNWE

In the first of its kind university event were bestowed the diplomas of twenty nine Doctors of UNWE. At the official ceremony attended scientific advisers, scientific consultants, colleagues and relatives of the young scientists.

It is a special honour to me to greet the first Doctors of UNWE, said to the attendants at the Ceremony Hall Prof. Statty Statev, Rector of the University. It lies ahead us to achieve with them the same high level as well as with the Bachelors and Masters. And when you say “Doctor of UNWE” – it has to be a symbol-definition for the highest position. “The most important purpose in the life of a man should be his spiritual improvement”, reminded the Rector the statement of Socrates.

You have the reasons to be proud of being Doctors of this University, pointed also prof. Stattev and outlined the high rate of UNWE – “Bulgarian Harvard” – in our country, in Europe and in the world. We are the natural generator of ideas and prosperity in the country: in the state government and business, said Prof. Stattev. Bear the diploma of Doctor of UNWE highly and proudly and don`t forget the accent is not upon the “Doctor” but upon the “UNWE”. Let the success and scientific happiness go along with you in your road of life and professional realization, wished the Rector.

Prof. Statty Stattev and Prof. Valentin Goev, Vice-Rector on Scientific Research Activity bestowed the diplomas to Doctors who have defended their thesis in the field of Economics, Administrative Management and Law.
