The 24th Conference on the Development and Underdevelopment in the History of Economic Thought organized by the European Society for the History of Economic Thought (ESHET) and held at UNWE has ended. During their last day the participants discussed a variety of topics but one of the highlights was the economic regulation. There were also discussions on the endogenous money supply in the main macroeconomy, democratization of organized speculative markets, consumption and purchasing power, etc.

The final lecture covered the topic "A Forgotten Science: The European Economy". The lecturer Arno Oren presented his views online.

The participants in the ESHET Forum expressed their thankfulness to Prof. D.Sc./Econ./ Nikolay Nenovski and Prof. D.Sc. Pencho Penchev for the overall organization of the event. They shared that for them holding such a large-scale conference means a lot so they all expressed their gratitude for the preparation and attention to their reports.

As a final note to the grand Conference the ESHET President Richard van den Berg emphasized that the organizers from our university had managed to implement a conference in the most difficult circumstances that any ESHET conference organizer had ever faced. "I really appreciate the collegial way we conducted our discussions before the Conference. You should be proud!”, he added. Berg was a chair of one of the sessions entitled "On the Shoulders of Giants" which discussed topics such as "Institutional Order and Mathematical Structure in Jan Tinbergen's Econometrics" as well as "Kalecki Meets Lewis: about Dualism and Structural Heterogeneity".

All participants who had the chance to show their works in person went to a tour over the capital visiting the Museum of Christian Art located in the crypt of St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and then they visited St. Sophia Church.
