Economics of Transport and Energy Department Was Awarded for the Promotion of International Standards

Economics of Transport and Energy Department was awarded a Diploma for its valuable contribution to the activities of the GS1 Bulgaria Association in relation to the training and promotion of international GS1 standards. The awarding ceremony was part of an online conference “30 Years of Applying Standards for Business”.

The prize was awarded by the GS1 Bulgaria Executive Director Mrs. Tsveta Bratanova and the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov.

Prof. Dr. Hristina Nikolova, Head of the Economics of Transport and Energy Department, at her turn, awarded a greeting address and a jubilee coin of the Department on the occasion of the anniversary of the Association and expressed her thankfulness for the high recognition.

The excellent professional and personal relationships between the lecturers of the Department and the employees of GS1 Bulgaria contribute for raising the authority and importance of our specialty", shared Prof. Nikolova regarding the award. She also added she hopes that the mutually beneficial cooperation would continue developing in the future.
