The Financial Control Department at UNWE Finance and Accountancy Faculty and the Public Financial Inspection Agency (PFIA) united their efforts to create new models for interaction between the higher education and state administration.

The main objective of the Framework Agreement concluded by both parties is the preparation of highly qualified professionals in the field of financial control as well as the permanent qualification enhancement of the Agency staff.

Both parties agreed to elaborate and implement joint internship programmes, trainings, forums and seminars.

The cooperation will be implemented through permanent exchange of good practitioners and preparation of new strategies to motivate and attract highly qualified young people. Representatives of the Financial Control Department will participate in working meetings, trainings and other PFIA initiatives. Experts from the Agency will participate in the academic process as mentors and lecturers and will have active role in the preparation of new academic curriculums.

The initiative is aimed at establishing a sustainable partnership between the science, higher education and state administration.
