Pupils from 12 High Schools Participated in the National Competition in Applied Informatics and Statistics

50 pupils from 12 high schools-members of the Association of Economic Schools in Bulgaria (AESB) took part in the National Competition in Applied Informatics and Statistics which was held in the UNWE Test Center. Last year 28 pupils participated in the event.

During the Competition which lasted three astronomic hours the pupils were doing tests in Applied Informatics and Statistics.

The future students were greeted by Prof. Dr. Daniela Feschiyan, Deputy Chairman of AES as well as by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maya Mikrenska, Vice Dean for Academic Activity of the Applied Informatics and Statistics Faculty and Head of the Mathematics Department and by Emilia Ivanova, member of the AES Coordinating Committee and Director of the National Trade and Banking High School in Sofia.

The winners in the National Competition are 33 pupils (see their names). According to the UNWE Academic Council Decision their result is recognized as an excellent grade for successful entrance examination in the subfield of Applied Informatics and Statistics at the UNWE for the academic year 2018/2019.
