Framework Agreement of Cooperation between the UNWE and BSA

The Rector of UNWE Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev and the Chairman of the Bulgarian Sociological Association (BSA) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Georgy Petrunov, lecturer at the Economic Sociology Department signed a Framework Agreement of Cooperation between both institutions.

The Agreement provides for preparation of joint projects, conferences, public lectures and other events, information to students from the Economic Sociology Department of UNWE about student internships and public activities of BSA as well as exchange of information and publications about important scientific, academic, business and other events, participation of lecturers from the UNWE in meetings, expertise, lectures, consultations, statistical and other research, mutual assistance in the implementation of events, etc.

Coordinator for the implementation of the Agreement from the UNWE is Chief Assist. Dr. Todorka Kineva, Scientific Secretary of the Economic Sociology Department and from the BSA – Dr. Marieta Hristova, member of the Management Board of the Association.

The UNWE and BSA work jointly on the project entitled European Social Survey in Bulgaria (ESS-ERIC) included in the National Roadmap for Research Infrastructures approved by the Council of Ministers. Both institutions held joint scientific conference with the participation of 75 representatives of all Bulgarian sociological departments and the Institute for the Study of Societies and Knowledge at Bulgarian Academy of Science (ISSK-BAS).
