Doctoral Student from the UNWE Won High Distinct in the Contest for Dr. Ivanka Petkova Award

Svilen Kolev, Doctoral student at the Finance Department won the second place in the annual Academic Contest for Dr. Ivanka Petrova Award. He won also a financial prize in the amount of 1000 BGN for his work on the Impact of the Monetary Policy Unconventional Measures Applied by the Leading World Central Banks on the Government Bonds Yield through the Interest Channel.

For sixth consecutive year the Economic Policy Institute awarded three young and talented researchers in the field of international finance. In the current year the Academic Contest was very hard and the Doctoral student Svilen Kolev had only one point less than the winner.
