At the opening of the Forum

One of the largest challenges to our accountancy theory and practice is the elaboration of common conceptual framework which can be the ground for the adoption of universal principally oriented accounting standards, outlined Prof. Basheva. No matter it doesn`t have the statute of International Accounting Standards (IAS) / International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) it is the ground on which the philosophy of each accounting standard is built up. Now in the world is discussed a project for an improved conceptual framework suggested by the International Accounting Standards Council (IASC) so the topic is very actual and has public importance. The comprehension of its formulations is a guaranty for the correct interpretation and application of the acting accounting standards in practice, emphasized the Head of the Department.

I definitely think that you have coped with the task and your presentation will be the best evidence about it, explicitly said Prof. Basheva.
