Presentation on The Gaming – Pleasure and Business

A survey about the Bulgarian gamer profile indicates that 88,4% of online games fans are men and women are only 11,6%. At the meeting with representatives of Efficiency company however the gender rate of attendees was obviously equal and the interest of students in presentation on the Gaming  - Pleasure and Business was huge.

It is the consecutive lecture we have organized by the support of the Inter-University Center for Career Development, pointed out its Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yordan Blizankov and emphasized on the online business rules and opportunities for a job.

The Efficiency company representatives – its owners Nikolay Dobrikov and Musy Stoyanov as well as the Managers Dimo Parmakov and Dimitar Gugov – commented the opportunities provided by the startup company-leader in the global B2B market, whether the gaming could be considered as a profession and requirements to work in the sphere of online gaming.

The company Blizzard have realized 6,6 milliards dollars for 2016, the game Pokemon Go has reached 60 millions of dollars for only 90 days, grounded by examples the achievements in the gaming business Nikolay Dobrikov.

The online gaming development from its first steps by Pong, Pac Man, Super Mario and Tetris over the times when the consoles had still been an expensive pleasure and the gaming computer had needed a serious budget was examined by Musy Stoyanov. Through the games we often find out a nicer place, get on the shoes of animated characters and meet with the east cultures, pointed out Stoyanov and defined Facebook as the consecutive game – inseparable part of our lives.

Students

About the secondary market of computer games, formation of their price and Bulgarian opportunities spoke Dimo Parmakov. He outlined as priorities for the company Efficiency the responsibility, expertizing, efficiency, innovativeness and examined the organization, planning and monitoring in the business.

During the presentation

How we can be optimally effective in the working environment was commented by Dimitar Gugov. He determined the positive adjustment and attitude to the working process, concentration, good interrelations with colleagues and the optimal use of “time” as a resource as leading factors in the online business.
