Professor from The UNWE Participated in An International Meeting in Barcelona

As an independent expert of the European Commission Directorate-General for Research and Innovation Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Rumen Gechev took part in the mid-term evaluation for the implementation of international research project entitled International Network for Comparative Analyses of Social Inequalities.

In the project are included ten universities from Europe and nine universities from Latin America. Coordinator for the three years research programme is the Economic Faculty of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) which is among the three leading Spanish universities. In the three-days meeting held in the period of 2 – 4 March in Barcelona participated the scientific heads and eminent researchers from the partner scientific institutions.

Prof. Gechev implemented also informal meetings with lecturers and students from the Economic Faculty of UAB. The discussions were focused on the organization and methodic of teaching, preparation of research projects, organization of the international cooperation in the research activity, etc.
