8th Table Tennis Tournament for The UNWE Cup

For the eighth time in Bonsist Sports Complex was held the Table Tennis Tournament for the UNWE Cup. It was organized by the Physical Education and Sport Department jointly with St. George the Victorious Academic Sport Club of lecturers and employees whose Chairman is Prof. Dr. Georgy Yankov.   

In the Tournament took part 21 lecturers and employees who were divided in four groups. The competition was held in four stages: qualifications and then - quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals.

The winners were announced by Sen. Lect. Elena Moneva who was also a referee in the competition and the prizes were awarded by the Rector of UNWE Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev who greeted all the participants for the successful organization of the Tournament.

The second and the third place were won by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Spas Stavrev and Darin Stefanov. The women were also awarded. The first place was won by Zhulieta Vitova, the second and the third place - by Sen. Lect. Nadya Boneva and Vasilena Ivanova.
