Award for Lecturer from The UNWE

The representatives of Economics of Tourism Department Prof. Dr. Tanya Parusheva, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asya Pencheva, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Todorka Nencheva, Assist. Dr. Hristina Boycheva and the Doctoral students Verzhinia Lazarova, Maria Stoyanova and Nevena Arnautska delivered reports in the 9^th Black Sea Tourist Forum on the Bulgaria – Tourist Destination for Four Seasons held in St. St. Konstantin and Elena Resort.

In the event held under the patronage of the Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova and the Mayor of Varna Ivan Portnih (both UNWE alumni) took part representatives of 11 universities from the country and abroad, Embassies of South Africa, Argentina, USA and France to Bulgaria, 18 municipalities, hotel and restaurants owners, tour operators, tourist agencies and non-governmental organizations from the tourist business.

At a solemn ceremony Prof. Dr. Parusheva, Scientific Secretary of the Department was awarded a plaque for her outstanding contribution to the work of the Forum (in the picture above). The distinction was awarded by Zhelyo Dushev, Chairman of the Varna Tourist Chamber. Prof. Parusheva has prepared a scientific report on the Bulgaria – Tourist Destination for Four Seasons through Cultural Tourism which is published in the Forum collection.
